Kon Wen Cultural Foundation

The cultivation of talent is like planting the seeds of hope for a nation—it is the country's greatest asset. Education should be a collaboration between the family, school, and society, all of which are equally essential. Early childhood and parental education are the foundation for lifelong learning.

In order to ensure that the seeds of hope take root in every corner of society, Mr. Guang Ying Chao and Ms. Ms. Hsueh-Ni Tsai invited numerous experts, scholars, and like-minded individuals from within the country to establish the Kon Wen Cultural Foundation on August 14, 1990, with approval from the Ministry of Education. The foundation aims to contribute to the education of the people and help the flowers of hope bloom in every part of society.

Our foundation dedicates resources and integrates efforts in the fields of education, academic research, and cultural development. We promote parental education, enhance the learning potential, quality of life, and character development of young people, and facilitate international educational and cultural exchanges. With talent cultivation as our mission, we hope to nurture well-rounded and capable individuals who can contribute to the country and society.

Addressing Social Issues

Our organization actively assists parents in understanding their child's learning and abilities, while also helping them rediscover their potential. In the first holiday after the winter break began in 2003, we held this event for the first time, coinciding with January 19th (Sunday), and named it "119 Save Me Free Academic Ability Diagnosis." The goal of this event is to provide children with learning opportunities that are better suited to their abilities.

We help parents better understand their child's abilities by offering free diagnostic tests in subjects such as mathematics and Mandarin for different grade levels, along with detailed analysis reports after the tests. The event brings together experienced educators and learning advisors to identify gaps in academic performance and abilities, offering appropriate advice and guidance. This helps both parents and children better understand themselves, face challenges, and regain both academic skills and the joy and confidence in learning.

Reading Promotion

Reading Promotion

In the age of information explosion, acquiring, categorizing, analyzing, and thinking through the vast amounts of information and knowledge requires strong reading and comprehension skills. Our long-term commitment to promoting reading aims to ensure that young children, parents, teachers, and society as a whole can read continuously. Through reading, they can explore knowledge, understand themselves, and experience personal growth.

Therefore, the foundation promotes reading through lectures, leading activities, parent-child reading sessions, and organizing seminars with experts to discuss reading-related topics. We are also actively involved in the Ministry of Education's Lifelong Learning Circle Reading Education Program, hoping to inspire, encourage, and bring enjoyment to parents, teachers, students, and reading enthusiasts, allowing them to experience the transformation and energy that reading brings. We believe that through concrete actions, reading can become part of daily life, allowing more people to enter the world of reading. Through the journey of reading, each person can create their own wonderful experiences, and through this continuous cycle, achieve more self-growth.

Learning Assistance

Learning Assistance

Since 2010, our foundation has focused on children who are at a disadvantage in learning. They need more than just economic assistance; they need support in learning. By improving their learning abilities, they can regain confidence and passion for learning, ultimately breaking free from disadvantage and difficult circumstances. Therefore, we have invested in empowerment projects, hoping that through these initiatives, both students and parents can participate and, moving forward, have more options and opportunities in their learning and life, enabling them to achieve their goals and courageously pursue their dreams.

Lifelong Learning

Lifelong Learning

Responding to government policies, we have established "Community Learning Communities," where our staff and community volunteers support various community development associations and neighborhood offices in organizing seminars and lectures on topics such as parenting education, family education, parent-child interaction counseling, parenting skills, and reading activities. This initiative aims to raise public awareness of parenting and ethical education, creating a society that fosters lifelong learning.

Commitment

By integrating resources, expertise, and like-minded partners, we aim to help more people in need, using education and concrete actions to transform lives at every stage.
