Good is not enough, striving for better

As the world rapidly changes, people’s needs evolve continuously, and no single method can be applied forever. Given that we value every person we serve, we must not only be more perceptive of their needs but also repeatedly think about how we can provide more fitting and higher-quality services. Throughout this process, we constantly assess how we can improve. This reflects the president’s repeated emphasis: “Good is not enough, striving for better.”

In our pursuit of excellence, not only are we able to meet the needs of those we serve, but we also continuously improve through self-demand, learning, and growth, moving forward toward an ever-better state.

 

Seeing our responsibility in the needs

Different generations face different challenges, and children require different capabilities. As educators, we must see the responsibility on our shoulders through the needs of those we serve.

For a long time, whether through teaching materials or activities, we have spared no effort in promoting reading. With the implementation of the 108 National Curriculum Guidelines, the need to improve reading literacy has become even more emphasized by parents.

Guided by the president’s ongoing thought of “What else can we do for you?”, I’ve been reflecting on how we can further help children improve their reading ability. Starting this year, I hope to engage with prospective parents early on—beginning with prenatal reading education, followed by parent-child reading after the baby’s birth. By consciously creating an environment and atmosphere conducive to reading, we can naturally integrate it into a child’s daily life, fostering reading literacy from an early age.

The president often says, “The power of one person is limited, but if we open our arms and hold hands, forming a large circle, we can help more people.”

The founding purpose of Deyu Education Group is to leverage social influence.
